TITHE SUNDAY: Today, the first Sunday of the month is Tithe Sunday, there shall be a special blessing before the Second Collection. You can also make your transfers to our Fidelity Bank 5080032193 in favour of Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac.

SOLEMNITY: Tomorrow, December 8^th, 2025 is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (On this day, we remember that Mary was conceived without sin, and so was chosen from the very first moment of her life to be the mother of Jesus). We are all obliged to attend mass on that day. Masses are at the usual time.

SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: There will be SCC Meetings in our various community centres on Wednesday, 10th December, 2025 at 6.00 pm prompt. Scriptural Reading: Matthew 11: 2 – 11. SCC Mass will be at Blessed Iwene Tansi SCC Venue: 3rd Avenue, N Close, House 18, FESTAC Town.

YCW WHITE CHRISTMAS PARTY 6^TH EDITION: The Young Christian Workers Movement of Nigeria Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac Town heartily invites you to her annual White Christmas Party. Date: Today, 7^th December, 2025. Time: The Event begins with Red Carpet at 3:00pm. Tickets are available at our stand outside the church. Regular: 10,000; VIP:20,000(with exceptional treats).

ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Next Sunday, 14^th December 2025, is the Monthly General Meeting of the Catholic Men Organization and Catholic Women Organization (after the 10.00am Mass).

PARISH ADVENT RETREAT: Our Parish Advent Retreat starts Sunday, 14^th December, 2025 to Friday, 19^th December 2025. The theme is: “Prepare a way for the Lord’’ (Isiah. 40:3)”. Retreat Moderator: Rev. Fr. Benjamin Ometan, CSsr. Let us all participate actively. Time is 5:30pm daily.

SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL ANNUAL CHRISTMAS SHARING: The society of St. Vincent de Paul Society wishes to ask for the kind support of all Parishioner to donate towards their annual food sharing, so that the poor & needy may have something to live on this Christmas. Food items required include; Bags of Rice, Beans, Garri & other food items that do not perish easily. Cash donations may also be made to: Society of St. Vincent de Paul, First Bank-2027264230. PARISH FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS CAROLS AND LESSONS: The Holy Family Choir Council invites all parishioners and guests to the 2025 Service of Carols and Lessons with the theme “Peace on Earth, hope for all… (Lk. 2:14)“. This event will take place on Sunday, 14^th December, 2025, at the Main Church Building. Time: 3:30pm prompt!! There will be interesting and entertaining performances from the CMO, CWO, CYON, HCC and other a special Father Christmas visit. There shall be a special brochure for the occasion. Price N500 only.

SECURITY: We wish to encourage all parishioners to be more security conscious especially with their children within the compound. Kindly instruct our children not to follow adults unknown to them outside the compound . Let us try to be security conscious this Christmas season.

CONFESSION: In preparation for the Christmas and new year, we want to encourage all parishioners to attend the sacrament of Reconciliation. Confessions for the end of the year will be held on Saturday 20^th December 2025 immediately after the morning mass and will resume on Thursday 8^th January, 2026.

CHRISTMAS PARTY: The members of the Confraternity of the Miraculous Infant Jesus heartily invites all parishioners and friends of the Holy Infant Jesus to her annual birthday party celebration. This year’s event is loaded with lots of fun, plenty of food to eat and drink and so much gifts to be won. Venue: Holy Family Catholic Church, 22 Road, Festac Town, Date: Thursday, 25^th December 2025 (Christmas Day). Time: 1:00pm prompt. CATECHISM: Catechism classes close on Saturday 13^th December 2025 and will resume on Saturday 24^th January 2026.

PARISH OFFICE: The Parish Office will close for Christmas Break on Friday, 19^th December 2025, to reopen on Wednesday 7^thJanuary, 2026. Please take note. Mass Bookings can be done at the Sacristy after mass.

21-DAY FOUNDATIONAL PRAYER: All Parishioners are specially invited to next year’s Parish 21-Day Foundational Prayer 2024. Theme:“Rooted in Christ for Fruitfulness”. Date: 10^th – 30^th January 2026. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with EXDOUS Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
