- TITHE SUNDAY: Today, the first Sunday of the month is Tithe Sunday, there shall be a special blessing before the Second Collection. You can also make your transfers to our Fidelity Bank 5080032193 in favour of Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac.
- DAY FOR CONSECRATED LIFE: February is the Month of Consecrated Life, with the World Day for Consecrated Life on February 2nd. We thank God for all consecrated persons and, in a special way, the EHJ and RSC Sisters serving in our parish. Let us keep them in our prayers and pray for more vocations. May God bless and strengthen them all.
- FEAST DAY: Monday, February 2nd, 2026, is the feast of the Presentation of our Lord in the Temple, forty days Christmas. We are all expected to attend mass on that day and come with our candles for the Ceremony of Light and Procession. There will be masses at the usual times.
- ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Next week Sunday, 8th February 2026, is the Monthly General Meetings of the Catholic Men Organization and Catholic Women Organization (after the 10.00am Mass).
- FIRST MONDAY ANOINTING: Tomorrow, 2nd February 2026, is the first Monday of the month. There shall be special blessing and anointing at all masses. Let us all endeavour to participate in this spiritual exercise.
- REQUIEM MASS: There will be a Requiem Mass for Late Mrs Phoebe Osokolo on Thursday, 5th February, 2026 by 12:30pm. She was member of Catholic Women Organization and Confraternity of Christian Mothers. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

- FIRST FRIDAY COMMUNION TO THE SICK AND HOME-BOUND: The First Friday visit and communion to the sick and home-bound comes up this Friday, 6th February, 2026.

- PARISH LEADERSHIP TRAINING: All members of Parish Societies and Organizations are hereby invited to attend a Parish Training Programme scheduled to hold on all Saturdays in February 2026, beginning from Saturday, 7th February 2026. Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm Dates: 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th February 2026, This training is designed to strengthen leadership capacity, promote effective service, and ensure continuity in our parish life. Attendance is highly encouraged for all MEMBERS. Refreshments will be provided. Let us come together to grow, learn, and serve better.
- SUBMISSION OF PALM FRONDS: Parishioners are hereby encouraged to return their blessed palm fronds from last year’s Palm Sunday to be used for Ashes, either at the Sacristy or the basket(s) at the entrance of the Church on or before Tuesday, 17th February, 2026.
- ASH WEDNESDAY: Wednesday, 18th February 2026 is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Season of Lent. It is a period of forty days in preparation for the celebration of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus. Let us all prepare prayerfully for this spiritual journey. Mass shall be at the usual times.
- STATIONS OF THE CROSS: During the Lenten Season, our Parish Stations of the Cross shall hold every Wednesday and Friday at 12noon and 5:30pm. We are all encouraged to journey with the Lord through His passion and death.
- RENOVATIONS: This is to bring to our awareness that the JOHN PAUL 11 Hall will be undergoing renovation until further notice. Therefore, all activities scheduled for the upper hall should be rescheduled for another venue in the church compound. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
