SPECIAL BLESSING FOR THE MONTH: Today is the Last Sunday of the month. There shall be special thanksgiving for those born in the month of February and those who had wedding anniversaries or any special celebration during this month.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS: During the Lenten Season, our Parish Stations of the Cross shall hold every Wednesday and Friday, immediately after the morning mass, at 12noon and 5:30pm. We are all encouraged to journey with the Lord through His passion and death. Booklets are available at #300 only.

2026 LENTEN PILGRIMAGE: Dear Parishioners, This is to inform us all that the Archdiocesan Lenten Pilgrimage with the Theme: “Create in me a clean heart, O Lord, and renew a steadfast spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10) comes up Date: Saturday, 7th March 2026, Time: 9:00am, Venue: Ave Maria Grotto, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos, Host: Archbishop Alfred Adewale Martins, This pilgrimage is a beautiful opportunity for us to deepen our Lenten journey through prayer, repentance, and spiritual renewal. We warmly encourage everyone to make out time to participate actively in this important archdiocesan spiritual exercise. Let us come together as one family of faith to seek the Lord and ask Him to create in us clean hearts and renew our spirits. Thank you and God bless.

PASSION-OF-CHRIST DRAMA REHEARSALS 2026 – CALL TO AUDITION: The Lenten season is upon us as Ash Wednesday comes up on 18th February, 2026. We gladly inform you that the Passion of Christ Drama Rehearsals will start on Friday, 20^th February 2026, and will continue to hold, Mondays to Fridays every week. Venue: Holy Family Catholic Church Compound, Time: 7:30pm prompt. All parishioners are kindly invited to join in the rehearsals and casting as part of their Lenten spiritual exercise. HARVEST PLEDGE REDEMPTION: We wish to encourage all parishioners to kindly redeem their pledges and commitment made during the Harvest of Divine Love at the Harvest Stand (on Sunday) and the parish office (on Weekdays) in cash, cheque or POS and get a receipt. PARISH LEADERSHIP TRAINING: All members of Parish Societies and Organizations are hereby invited to attend a Parish Training Programme scheduled to hold on all Saturdays in February 2026, beginning from Saturday, 7th February 2026. Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm Dates: 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th February 2026, This training is designed to strengthen leadership capacity, promote effective service, and ensure continuity in our parish life. Attendance is highly encouraged for all MEMBERS. Refreshments will be provided. Let us come together to grow, learn, and serve better.

CATECHISM: Catechism classes have began, Registration for Baptism & First Holy communion classes is ongoing. Registration for Adult Confirmation classes for persons 30 years & above or persons wedded in the church begins is ongoing and ends on Saturday, 28^th February 2026. Avail yourself of this opportunity.

ASSOCIATION OF ALTAR LADIES: The Association of Altar Ladies are calling on young and Mature Ladies who will like to serve God on the altar with Creativity by dressing and beatifying the altar of God. Our Meetings are every Saturday by 4pm here in d church. NEARER TO THE ALTAR NEARER TO GOD.

RENOVATIONS: This is to bring to our awareness that the JOHN PAUL 11 Hall is undergoing renovation until further notice. Therefore, all activities scheduled for the upper hall should be rescheduled for another venue in the church compound. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

SECURITY: We wish to encourage all parishioners to be more security conscious especially with their children within the compound. Kindly instruct our children not to follow adults unknown to them outside the compound .

LUMEN CHRISTI COLLEGE: The entrance admission form into Lumen Christi College, Maya-Ikorodu is available at the parish office and Nazareth School (upper) at the rate of N10,000(Cash only). Lumen Christi College is a co-educational boarding school managed by the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentian Fathers in Nigeria). The first entrance examination holds 28th March, 2026 at Nazareth School. Online examination option is also available and can be taken at home.

VITA CHRISTI CATHOLIC COLLEGE: The entrance admission form into Vita Christi Catholic College, Oba-Ara, Idimu is available at the Parish Office and Nazareth School (Upper) at the rate of ₦10,000, and the exam preparatory booklet at ₦8,000 (cash only). Vita Christi Catholic College is a co-educational day and boarding school managed by the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentian Fathers in Nigeria). (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with LEVITICUS Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen
