PENTECOST SUNDAY: Today is Pentecost Sunday, the Descent of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. Let us pray for a spiritual renewal for ourselves and our Church. As part of the Pentecost Celebration, we have made available paper representations of the fruits of the Holy Spirit to help us in modelling our lives. Please pick one at the exit doors of the church before leaving and do your best to nurture that fruit in your life. Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us!! .

FEAST OF THE VISITATION: Sunday, 31^st May 2026 is the feast of the visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to her cousin Elizabeth. We are all encouraged to observe the feast devoutly.

SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: There will be SCC meetings in our Various community centers on Wednesday 27th May, 2026 at 6.00 pm prompt. Scriptural Reading: John 3: 16-18. SCC Mass will be at Blessed Iwene Tansi SCC, Venue: 3rd Avenue , N close House 18. FESTAC Town.

MAY DEVOTION: May devotion in honor of the blessed Virgin Mary will end on Sunday 31^st May 2026: Rosary prayers at 5:30pm, Marian Talk – during 6:30pm mass after post-communion pr ayers . Saturdays: Marian talk during the 6:30am mass, Sundays: at 4:30pm-Rosary prayers and Marian Talk during Benediction. We are all encouraged to prepare & participate actively in this program. PLEASE NOTE: Devotional societies assigned talks should adhere to the instructions as directed in the roaster

CHILDREN’S DAY: Our annual Parish Children’s Day celebration, organized by the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, comes up on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 starting with Holy Mass at 12:30pm. There will be talks and an interactive session for children on Saturday 23rd May 2026 from 4pm to 6pm. The talks shall be on Bullying, drug abuse and educational issues concerning children. We appeal for your generous support through sponsorship and donations (financial or material), to help create a memorable day and unforgettable outing for our children. CHRISTIAN WAKE & FUNERAL MASS: There will be a Christian wake for Late Mrs Ntat Alice on Thursday 28^th May 2026 by 6:00pm, Venue: 5^th Avenue Block 7 Flat 4 festac town. While the Funeral mass will take place on Friday 29^th 2026 by 10am, We are all encouraged to pray for the repose of her soul. Amen!!.

REQUIEM MASS: There will a requiem mass for Late Engr Chief Sir Philip Ukaobasi Umunnakwe on Saturday 30th May 2026 by 2:00pm. He was a member of Catholic Men Organisation and Catholic Confraternity of Christian Fathers. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace Amen!!

GROUP WEDDING: The Knights and Ladies of St. Mulumba, Festac Town Sub-Council in conjunction with Festac Deanery invite interested parishioners to register for a Group Wedding scheduled for 29th August 2026. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with DEUTERONOMY Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
