Parish Announcements – 14th June, 2026

  1. JUBILEE YEAR OF ST. FRANCIS: As we celebrate the Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi, we thank God for the gift of his holy life and inspiring witness. May this special year renew our faith and draw us closer to Christ through the example and intercession of St. Francis. With grateful hearts, let us now unite in prayer, asking God through the intercession of St. Francis, to strengthen our faith and guide us on the path of holiness.
  1. ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Today, Sunday 14th June 2026, is the Monthly General Meetings of the Catholic Men Organization and Catholic Women Organization (after the 10.00am Mass) and Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (after the 8:00am Mass). Let us all prepare to attend our respective organization meetings.
  1. ST. THOMAS MOORE NOVENA: This is to inform all parishioners that the Novena to St. Thomas More, Patron Saint of the Laity, will commence on Saturday, 13th June 2026 and conclude on Sunday, 21st June 2026. All parishioners, societies, and organizations are encouraged to participate actively in this spiritual exercise. the Novena prayers will be held:  Immediately after the 6:30 am Mass on Saturdays, Immediately after the 6:30 p.m. Mass on weekdays, all sessions will take place inside the Church. Let us all make a conscious effort to participate and pray together as one family of faith.

  2. CHILDREN MASS: Parents and Guardians are encouraged to take their children to attend the 8: 30am Children Mass at the Upper Hall. Church wardens are to direct them accordingly.
  1. MASS BOOKING: For all Mass Bookings, please visit and make payment at the Parish office or the Sacristy and collect your receipt.
  1. REGISTRATION FOR CATECHISM CLASSES: Registration is on going into the following classes, Prayer Class, confirmation(12yrs & Above) and RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Venue: Catechist office, Time: 3.30pm, Parents and guardians are kindly requested to register their children/wards early. Adults who wish to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation are also encouraged to enroll in the RCIA program. Thank you and God bless.

HARVEST PLEDGE REDEMPTION: We wish to encourage all parishioners to kindly redeem their pledges and commitment made during the Harvest of Divine Love at the Harvest Stand (on Sunday) and the parish office (on Weekdays) in cash, cheque or POS and get a receipt.   1. SECURITY: We wish to encourage all parishioners to be more security conscious especially with their children within the compound. Kindly instruct our children not to follow adults unknown to them outside the compound .

  1. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with JOSHUA Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

  1. RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
