  1. HARVEST UNVEILING: Today is the Unveiling of the Harvest Theme and ushering-in/ sowing of seed, at all masses. Let us all prepare to participate actively in this programme.

  1. NEWLY CONSTITUTED PARISH COUNCILS: We heartily congratulate the members of the newly constituted Parish Pastoral, Finance and Laity Councils for our parish. May the Lord bless us as we serve him with our time, Treasure and Talents. We equally thank all those who have completed their tenures as councillors. May God bless and reward you abundantly.
  1. ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Next Sunday, 12th July 2026, is the Monthly General Meeting of the Catholic Women Organization and Catholic Men Organization (after the 10.00am Mass) and Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (after the 8:00am Mass). Let us all prepare to attend our respective organizations
  1. SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: There will be SCC meetings at our various community centres on Wednesday, 8th July 2026 at 6.00 pm prompt. Scriptural Reading: Matttew 13:1-23, SCC Mass will be at St Albert the Great. Venue: 5th Avenue, N Close, House 5, FESTAC Town.
  1. SIXTH WORLD DAY FOR GRANDPARENTS AND THE ELDERLY: The Sixth World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly comes up on Sunday July 26, 2026. The theme for this year is “I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU’’ (Isaiah 49:15). We shall have a two day program to celebrate with our elderly and grandparents parishioners. Let us endeavour to participate actively. Kindly contact the Priest for support in cash or kind.
  1. 2026 HOLY FAMILY MUSICAL CONCERT: The Parish Choir joyfully invites you to a musical concert.   1. ANNUAL FAMILY WEEK: The annual Archdiocesan family Week comes up from Sunday July 26th to August 2nd 2026. This year’s theme is”THE FAMILY AND THE CIVILIZATION OF LOVE’’. There shall be daily talks during the evening mass, renewal of martial vows, exchange of gifts and special prayers for Widows and Widowers. Let us participate actively.
  1. 25TH   PRIESTLY ANNIVERSARY: This is to remind us of the 25th Priestly Anniversary of our dear Priest and Brother, Very Rev. Fr. Alfred O. Osamor.

Remember, he who welcomes a Prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward (Matt 10:41).

  1. HALL USAGE: We wish to encourage all parishioners to kindly use all the equipment in our newly refurbished Parish Hall with utmost care. Kindly do not remove the chairs, tables or fans without due authorization. Please note that “Only Black Chairs” can be used outside the hall and should be properly returned to the courtyard after use.
  1. MASS BOOKING: For all Mass Bookings, please visit and make payment at the Parish office or the Seminarian and collect your receipts.
  1. CHILDREN MASS: Parents and Guardians are encouraged to take their children to attend the 8: 30am Children Mass at the Upper Hall. Church wardens are to direct them accordingly.
  1. Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) Exercise: Phase III, The Justice Development and Peace Centre (JDPC) of our Parish wishes to remind us that Phase III of the CVR is still ongoing and your participation is crucial for our nation’s democratic future. The exercise which began on May 11 will end July 10, 2026. Let’s take advantage of this opportunity. We urge you to use this period to: Register as a new voter if you have not done so before, Request a voter transfer if you have moved to a different location, Replace lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). Update your personal information in the INEC database. REGISTRATION DETAILS: Online: You can start or manage your registration process online at cvr.inecnigeria.org. REGISTRATION FOR CATECHISM CLASSES: Registration is on going into the following classes, Prayer Class, confirmation(12yrs & Above) and RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Venue: Catechist office, Time: 3.30pm, Parents and guardians are kindly requested to register their children/wards early.   1. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with JUDGES Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

  1. RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
