APPRECIATION: On behalf of the 2026 Harvest Committee we wish to express our profound gratitude to you our dear parishioners for your active participation at last week’s Harvest Theme Unveiling and Seed Sowing. May the good Lord continue to bless and grant increase to the work of our hands. Amen.   1. AUI COLLECTION: Today 12th July, 2026 Our Second Collection shall be for St Augustine University, Ilara.  Let us all prepare to donate generously.
  1. ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Today 12th July 2026, is the Monthly General Meeting of the Catholic Women Organization and Catholic Men Organization (after the 10.00am Mass) and Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (after the 8:00am Mass). Let us all prepare to attend our respective organizations
  1. SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: There will be SCC meetings at our various community centres on Wednesday, 15th July 2026 at 6.00 pm prompt. Scriptural Reading: Matttew 11: 25-30, SCC Mass will be at St Augustine SCC. Venue: 3rd Avenue, Y Close, House 6, FESTAC Town.
  1. AMSP PROMOTIONS: The Promotions Team of the Associate Missionaries of St. Paul, Lagos/Iperu Zone led by the Promotions Director will be visiting the AMSP of our parish today, July 12th 2026 for membership drives.
  1. NOVENA: St Jude Society Novena to Saint Joachim and Ann begins from 17th July to  25th July, 2026. Time schedules weekdays (after evening mass), Saturday (6pm), Sunday (3.30pm). Join us and be blessed. Old new members are welcome.
  1. REQUIEM MASS: There will be Requiem Mass for Late Mrs Grace Opone on Thursday , 16th July 2026 by 12:30pm.  She was a member of Catholic Women Organization, Legion of Mary, Association of the Sacred Heart of Jesus & Immaculate Heart of Mary & Guild of Catechists. We are all encouraged to pray for the repose of her soul.
  1. CYON CAR-WASH EXERCISE: The Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON), Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac Town will be holding an Old School/Professional Day Car Wash Exercise on Sunday, 26th July 2026 (the last Sunday of the month). Parishioners are kindly informed that members of CYON will be carrying out this exercise within the parish premises. We encourage everyone to support this initiative.   1. 2026 HOLIDAY LESSON; Our annual HFCC holiday lessons comes up from 3rd Aug to 28th Aug, 2026 (4 weeks). There will be skill acquisition, excursion, coding & AI, Library studies & more. Registration is on at the parish office. Primary school students: N6,000 Secondary students: N8,000.

TOTAL CONSECRATION TO JESUS THROUH MARY(According to St. Louis Marie de Montfort)– The 33days class in preparation for Total consecration to Jesus through Mary begins on Monday July 13th 2026, immediately after evening mass and runs everyday till Friday 14th August 2026, in front of the Parish Computer training centre. Consecration is on Saturday August 15th 2026. Interested Parishoners should send their contact details to Sr Ifeyinwa on 07037153118 or just come to the class with writing materials and a Bible.   1. SIXTH WORLD DAY FOR GRANDPARENTS AND THE ELDERLY: The Sixth World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly comes up on Sunday July 26, 2026. The theme for this year is “I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU’’ (Isaiah 49:15). We shall have a two day program to celebrate with our elderly and grandparents parishioners. Let us endeavour to participate actively.
  1. 2026 HOLY FAMILY CHOIR CONCERT: The Parish Choir cordially invites you to a musical concert titled “I Will Give Thanks to the Lord.” Date: Sunday, 26th July 2026, Time: 1:00 PM.   1. ANNUAL FAMILY WEEK: The annual Archdiocesan family Week comes up from Sunday July 26th to August 2nd 2026. This year’s theme is ”THE FAMILY AND THE CIVILIZATION OF LOVE’’. There shall be daily talks during the evening mass, renewal of marital vows, exchange of gifts and special prayers for Widows and Widowers. Let us participate actively.

  1.  HALL USAGE: We wish to encourage all parishioners to kindly use all the equipment in our newly refurbished Parish Hall with utmost care. Kindly do not remove the chairs, tables or fans without due authorization. Please note that “Only Black Chairs” can be used outside the hall and should be properly returned to the courtyard after use.
  1. MASS BOOKING: For all Mass Bookings, please visit and make payment at the Parish office or the Seminarian and collect your receipts.
  1. CHILDREN MASS: Parents and Guardians are encouraged to take their children to attend the 8: 30am Children Mass at the Upper Hall. Church wardens are to direct them accordingly.

Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) Exercise: Phase III, The Justice Development and Peace Centre (JDPC) of our Parish wishes to remind us that Phase III of the CVR is still ongoing and your participation is crucial for our nation’s democratic future. The exercise which began on May 11 will end July 10, 2026. Let’s take advantage of this opportunity. We urge you to use this period to: Register as a new voter if you have not done so before, Request a voter transfer if you have moved to a different location, Replace lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).   1. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with JUDGES Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

  1. RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
