  1. SOLEMNITY: Friday, 15th August 2025 is the Solemnity of the Assumption of our Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven body and soul. It was fitting that she who was born without the original sin of Adam and bore the Son of God; having completed her earthly Divine mission should not see bodily death or corruption of the grave, rather should enjoy the assumption of her glorified body through the power of God. We are all obliged to attend mass, there shall be no midday mass due to EHJ Final Profession.
  1. FINAL PROFESSION OF VOWS: The final profession of vows of 5 EHJ Sisters will hold here in our parish this Friday August 15, 2025, the solemnity of the Assumption. The Mass will presided over by His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martins, The EHJ Sisters are here in our parish contributing in many ways to our Spiritual and Pastoral life.   1. ALTAR HOST: Please be reminded that our altar host is now sold for N3,000(per pack). We apologize for any inconveniences.
  1. SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: There will be SCC meetings at our various community centres on Wednesday, 13th August, 2025 at 6.00 pm prompt. Scriptural Reading: Luke 12:32-48. SCC Mass will be at Blessed Iwene Tansi. Venue: 3rd Avenue, N Close, House 18, Festac Town.
  1. HOLIDAY LESSON: The 2025 Holiday Lesson is Ongoing will end on Friday 29th August. The Lessons shall feature the following: Academic Works, Cathecism, Coding Lesson, Library Studies, Moral Lesson, Skill Acquisition and, Excursion. The fees are same as last year’s; Registration N500, Nursery and Primary N5,000, Secondary N7,500, An additional feature for this year’s Lesson is a Teachers’ Training Program with Qualifying Certificate from a Government approved Institution in eight(8) School Management Courses, for Teachers, within and outside our Parish!   1. CHRISTIAN WAKE: There will be a Christian wake for Late Stephen Ekosodo Igene on the 14th of August 2025 by 6pm at his residence 2nd Avenue ‘M’ Close Block 2 Flat 4 Festac Town Lagos. He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary & Catholic Men Organisation. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

  1. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours.
