- FEAST DAYS: Wednesday 22nd July is the Feast of St Mary Madgdalene and Saturday 25th July 2026 is the Feast of St James the Apostle. We are obliged to attend mass and observe the Feasts devoutly, Masses shall be at the usual times.
- SIXTH WORLD DAY FOR GRANDPARENTS AND THE ELDERLY: The Sixth World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly comes up on Sunday July 26, 2026. The theme for this year is “I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU’’ (Isaiah 49:15). We shall have a two day program on 25th & 26th July with Special Rosary, Free Medical Talks & Check-up, visits and choir concert to celebrate with our elderly and grandparents parishioners. - ANNUAL FAMILY WEEK: The annual Archdiocesan family Week comes up from Sunday July 26th to August 2nd 2026. This year’s theme is ”THE FAMILY AND THE CIVILIZATION OF LOVE’’. There shall be daily talks during the evening mass, renewal of marital vows, exchange of gifts and special prayers for Widows and Widowers. Let us participate actively.

- CYON CAR-WASH EXERCISE: The Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON), will be holding an Old School/Professional Day Car Wash Exercise on Sunday, 26th July 2026 (the last Sunday of the month). - OBSEQUIES: There shall be a Christian wake for Late Mrs Eunice Veronica Obada at John Paul II Upper Hall on Thursday 23rd July 2026 at 5pm while the Funeral mass is on Friday 24th July 2026 at 10am, She was a member of the Association of Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, St Raphael & Gabriel, Catholic Women Organization and St Jude Society. We are all encouraged to pray for the repose of her soul.
