SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE POOR: Today, 20th July 2025 shall be our monthly Special Collection for the Poor. This collection is to help support the activities of St. Vincent De Paul. Let us all prepare to donate generously. “Remember, whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.”

FEAST DAYS: Monday, 22^nd July, & Thursday, 25^th July, 2025 are the feast days of St. Mary Magdalene and St. James (Apostle) respectively. We are all encouraged to observe the feasts devoutly. Masses shall be at the usual times.

CATHOLIC NURSES GUILD: We welcome all the members at Catholic Nurses from Lagos Ecclesial Provincence which includes Lagos Archdiocese, Abeokuta Dioceses and ljebu Ode Dioceses Today at the 10am mass.

SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: There will be SCC meetings at our various community centres on Wednesday, 23rd July, 2025 at 6.00 pm prompt. Scriptural Reading: Luke 11:1-13. SCC Mass will be at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception SCC. Venue: 4th Avenue, 40/41 Road House 19B, FESTAC Town.

THE APOSTOLATE OF THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST: Invites Parishioners to their Great July Novena Which Takes off from 1^st – 31^st July 2025 after morning masses in-front of the church but at the courtyard on Saturdays. Also collect their petition envelopes, after drop the envelopes in the basket in-front of the church outside. Precious Blood of Jesus Christ save us and the whole world.

WORLD DAY FOR GRANDPARENTS AND THE ELDERLY 2025: Next Sunday, July 27, 2025 shall the Jubliee year celebrationfor the 5^th World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. This year’s theme is “Blessed are those who have not lost Hope” (Cf. SIR.14:2). There shall be holy Hour/Rosary on Saturday 26^th July immediately after the morning mass and special thanksgiving mass at 10:00am for Grandparents and the Elderly. All parishoners are encouraged to participate actively and remember to pray for our beloved Grandparents and the Elderly.

HOLIDAY LESSON: The 2025 Holiday Lesson will start on Monday 4th August and end on Friday 29^th August. The Lesson shall feature the following: Academic Works, Cathecism, Coding Lesson, Library Studies, Moral Lesson, Skill Acquisition and, Excursion. The fees are same as last year’s; Registration N500, Nursery and Primary N5,000, Secondary N7,500, An additional feature for this year’s Lesson is a Teachers’ Training Program with Qualifying Certificate from a Government approved Institution in eight(8) School Management Courses, for Teachers, within and outside our Parish! CATECHISM CLASSES: Registrations into Catechism classes for Adult Confirmation classes start on Sunday 6th July 2025. Registration ends on Sunday 31st, August 2025.

PARISH HYMN BOOKS: We appreciatethe Knights and Ladies of St. Mulumba, Festac sub-council for their kind donations of hymns books for our use. We appeal to us to kindly handle them with care and do not take them away.

(1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with FIRST TIMOTHY Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
