    1. CHILDREN HARVEST OF DIVINE LOVE: Next Sunday 31st August is our Children and Youth Harvest of Divine Love. Masses shall be at 6:30am and 10am only Harvest Retreat holds from Wednesday August 27th to Friday August 29th 2025. Moderator: Rev. Fr. Chike Osamor. Let us all ensure we participate actively.
    2. SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE POOR: Today, 24th August 2025 shall be our monthly Special Collection for the Poor. This collection is to help support the activities of the Society St. Vincent De Paul. Let us all donate generously. “Remember, whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.”
    3. FEAST OF THE NATIVITY OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY: Our Annual celebration of the birthday of our blessed Mother Mary in the Parish. will start off with a Novena from Saturday August 30th – Sunday September 7th, 2025. “Theme – Mary and the Mystical body of Christ” Time: 5:30pm daily Retreat Moderator: Rev. Fr Jude Nkem Anyaegbu CSSR On Monday 8th September 2025 we shall celebrate the feast at the evening mass while the grand social celebration will be on Sunday September 14th 2025 beginning with the 10.00am mass. Freewill donations in cash and kind are highly welcome.     4. ALTAR HOST: Please be reminded that our altar host is now sold for N3,000(per pack). We apologize for any inconveniences.
    5. HOLIDAY LESSON: The 2025 Holiday Lesson is Ongoing and shall feature the following: Academic Works, Cathecism, Coding Lesson, Library Studies, Moral Lesson, Skill Acquisition and, Excursion. The fees are same as last year’s; Registration N500, Nursery and Primary N5,000, Secondary N7,500, An additional feature for this year’s Lesson is a Teachers’ Training Program with Qualifying Certificate from a Government approved Institution in eight (8) School Management Courses, for Teachers, within and outside our Parish!     7. CATECHISM CLASSES: Registrations into Catechism classes for Adult Confirmation classes is Ongoing. Registration ends on Sunday 31st, August 2025.
    8. PARISH HYMN BOOKS: We appreciatethe Knights and Ladies of St. Mulumba, Festac sub-council for their kind donations of hymns books for our use. We appeal to us to kindly handle them with care and do not take them away.

    10. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with FIRST JOHN Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

    1. RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
    2. The Holy Childs Choir is celebrating their cultural day on Sunday 24th August, 2025. We cordially invite our patrons and patronesses to come and celebrate with us. Time: 1.00pm, Venue: Upper Hall.
