Holy Family, make our Family like Thine.
Welcome to the Month of November!
Last month, we celebrated the month of the holy Rosary. We begin this unique month of November with the solemnity of all the saints and immediately, the next day, with the commemoration of all the faithful departed souls; where we remember all those who have gone before us.

The church introduces us into this month with this immersion into the communion of saints with the Church Triumphant and the church suffering. Make sure you do not pass these mysteries by, strive to understand better, and share with your children and family. Ensure that you strive to emulate the good example of the saints and pray for the souls in purgatory.

This month is indeed a unique one. As a parish, we shall thank God in our Adult Harvest of divine love, preceded by five days of spiritual preparation. I invite us all to join in this special annual act of thanksgiving with your family, and of course, don’t forget to be generous as you sow seeds for an abundant harvest of testimonies.
Later this month, on the 23rd, we celebrate the last Sunday of the year, the Solemnity of Christ the King. We shall have our annual Eucharistic procession, and the month will end beautifully on a Sunday as well, beginning the new liturgical year.

Indeed, November is a month to look forward to. Let us all make sure we don’t miss any opportunity to grow in our faith and love of God and one another. I want to sincerely thank all of our beloved parishioners for all your generosity and commitment to the growth of the church. Be assured that your generous donations are put to the best use for the maintenance of our parish.
May the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph bless and reward you abundantly. Amen!
Fr Melvis Mayaki.
